Crews called for child with leg injury
Due to the weather, a medical helicopter was unavailable Saturday afternoon to transport a child who sustained a leg injury at Altitude Trampoline Park in Center Township.
Dispatchers at the county 911 center sent crews to Clearview Mall just after 3 p.m. for a report of a child with a leg injury.
Rescue crews attempted to set up a landing zone at the mall but were told by dispatchers that helicopters were grounded in the windy, rainy weather.
Emergency responders at the scene asked for additional help inside the trampoline park to assist the child.
According to transmissions between dispatchers and rescue workers, the child was taken for treatment by ambulance.
