Floyd L. Taylor Jr.
Floyd L. Taylor Jr., 72, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born Aug. 15, 1949, in Butler, he was a son of the late Floyd J. Taylor Sr. and Vernelia J. (Watterson) Taylor.
He was employed as a steelworker at Armco Butler Works, until his retirement. He retired in 2002, following 35 years service.He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.Floyd was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was all about football; he played, coached and watched football. He enjoyed classic cars and trips to Havasu City, Ariz.Surviving are his wife, Evelyn (Aggers) Taylor, whom he married Feb. 13, 1970; two daughters, Cloressa (Bobby) Gracie of Coraopolis, and Melissa (Matthew) Bush of Philadelphia; his three grandchildren, Evan, Jordan and Emma; his brother, Terry D. (Jami) Taylor, and his sister, Yvonne Brandon, both of Slippery Rock; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents.TAYLOR — Friends of Floyd L.
