John Carl Monn, 68, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1953, in Butler, a son of John Plough Monn and Mabel Patterson Monn.

He married AlsiaMay Wilcox on Dec. 19, 1992, and she survives.

He attended Slippery Rock High School, and was a professional truck driver for Cross and Co., Duran Transfer and McClelland Trucking.

John enjoyed trucking, talking to his brother, being outdoors, hunting, and loved coming home to his wife and her dog.

In addition to his loving wife, AlsiaMay, he is survived by two daughters, Carrie Lynn Binney and Cassandra Donnell; three sons, Johnny Monn, Joey Monn and Jason Monn; his grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth McIntyre, Grace Shields and Patricia Duncan; two brothers, Tom and Don Monn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Bonnie Monn.

MONN — Services for John Carl Monn, who died Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
