Jarrett Hoover
Jarrett Michael Hoover, 41, of Butler, formerly of Prospect, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born July 1, 1980, in Grove City, he was the son of Martin J. and Karen L. Roxbury Hoover.
He was a member of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, and was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School.
Jarrett was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, who enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Marty and Karen Hoover of Prospect; his sister, Gena (Brad) Hinchberger of Slippery Rock; his children, Destan Hoover, Anna Hoover, Talon Hoover, Ashton Schmidt and Cameron Schmidt; his nephews, Wyatt and Lane Hinchberger; his aunts and uncles, Herb and Jackie Nicklas, Bud and Connie Sarver, Pam Roxbury, Dan and Karen Roxbury, Mike and Vivian Hoover, Rick and Diane Hoover, Lori (Hoover) Farris, and Annabelle Eichler; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud and Ella Hoover, and Gene and Audrey Roxbury; and his uncle, Randy Hoover.
HOOVER — The family of Jarrett Michael Hoover, who died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, will receive family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422, Butler.
The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the church with his pastor, the Rev. Ronald Schermerhorn officiating.
Private interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
Arrangements are under the direction of Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Prospect.
