Nancy Montini

Nancy Janet Montini, 72, of Mars, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 30, 1949, in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Janet M. Shenefelt.

She was a member of Mars United Methodist Church and then the Chippewa United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She retired from Pine Richland Middle School after many years of teaching seventh-grade math. For over 25 years, Nancy enjoyed attending family week at Jumonville. She loved riding on the motorcycle with her husband, Gene, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Eugene C. Montini; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian G. and Laura K. Montini, of Northlake, Texas; a daughter, Christy N. Soltes, of Acworth, Ga.; four grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Soltes, of Acworth, Ga., and Brandon and Lincoln Montini, of Northlake, Texas; and a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly A. and R. Richard Swiontek, Beaver.

Montini — Friends of Nancy Janet Montini, who died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church, 161 Mcfann Road, Valencia. Officiating will be the Rev. David O'Leary and the Rev. Rodney E. Smith.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1133 Church St., Ambridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Nancy to Jumonville, 887 Jumonville Road, Hopwood, PA 15445.
