Mary Ann Charlton

Mary Ann Charlton, 92, of Sarver, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born April 6, 1929, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Lesho and Gizella Hricisak Lesho.

Mary Ann was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot and was active in the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed cookie baking, golf, painting and sewing.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis John (Sandy) Charlton of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Jeffrey Brandon (Sue) Charlton of Newburg, Ind.; daughter, Judy (Giulio) DiCicco of Valencia; sister, Cecilia Carson of New Kensington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis John Charlton; her son, John Patrick Charlton; and two brothers, John Lesho and Joe Lesho.

Charlton — At her request there will be no visitation for Mary Ann Charlton, who died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Worship Site, with Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Freeport.
