Chrystal K. Brown, 48, of Butler, passed away peacefully Monday evening, Oct. 25, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Chrystal was born Feb. 13, 1973, in Greensburg. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Linda J. Grossman Wiles.

Chrystal attended school in the Moniteau School District and in her earlier years, had been employed at the VA Medical Center in Butler and at Boscov’s.

Chrystal was a Christian.

She enjoyed the company of her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, David G. Brown of North Washington; three children, Lindsey L. Wolfe and her husband, Jeff, Sara J. Brown and Tiffany R. Brown, all of Butler; four grandchildren, Mallory, Avah, Donald and Aaliyah; two sisters, Lydia J. Moore and her husband, William, of Parker, and Bobbi Hernandes of New Castle, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy; and a nephew, Cody Wiles.

BROWN — Friends of Chrystal K. Brown, who died Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Hile Funeral Home of Karns City.

A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Barnhart officiating.
