No students injured in school van crash
A school van transporting three juveniles and a bus monitor went through an intersection in Prospect Nov. 18 and struck a vehicle, injuring the driver, state police said.
Robert L. Fusco, 77, of New Castle was traveling north in a 2015 Chevrolet school bus at 8:20 a.m. when he went through the intersection of routes 488 and 528 into the path of a Subaru Outback driven by Deanna R. McDonald, 30, of Portersville, police said.
McDonald was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with a suspected moderate injury. Neither Fusco, his three juvenile passengers, nor bus monitor Jeri L. Beale, 43, of New Castle were injured, police said.
