Bill Schaudt of Cranberry Township carves a cardinal from white pine Saturday afternoon outside the Mars Area High School during the 37th annual Mars Area Fall Craft Show. The show, which featured roughly 250 vendors and their wares, provided opportunity for those from southern Butler County and the surrounding area to buy and sell handmade goods. Schaudt said he sold out of his top-selling product, a wooden U.S. flag with the Pledge of Allegiance carved out.
