Wayne B. Lyons

Wayne B. Lyons, 71, of Grove City passed away at Autumn Grove in Harrisville, on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.

He was born Jan. 25, 1950, in Butler, the son to Dolph Robert Lyons and Cleora Alice Johnston Lyons.

Wayne previously worked for Eckstrom Trucking as a diesel mechanic before opening his own business, Lyons Automotive, which he owned and operated.

He loved NASCAR and was a huge Earnhardt fan. Wayne enjoyed working on and restoring old cars, and he enjoyed racing cars.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Melanie Lyons of Columbus, Ohio; and one grandson, Daryn Lyons, and his wife, Melissa, both of whom were two of his greatest joys. He is also survived by his former wife, Sandra Lyons in Marion, Ohio.

Preceding Wayne in death are his parents; one son, Dolph Robert Lyons II; two brothers, Larry and Martin Lyons; and one baby sister, Cathy Sue Lyons.

LYONS — Private family services for Wayne B. Lyons, who died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, will be at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township.
