SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University ranked sixth on BestColleges.com's list of 2021 Best Online Colleges in Pennsylvania. BestColleges is an online resource that publishes college rankings lists and guides for prospective online students.

SRU was the only school from Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education to make the top 10. The rankings are based on statistical data and input from BestColleges' evaluators who considered academic quality, affordability and online competency. The 2021 rankings reflect the most recent data available from the?Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System?and?College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the?National Center for Education Statistics.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University is again being recognized as one of the nation's most environmentally responsible colleges.The Princeton Review named SRU to its “Guide to Green Colleges: 2022 Edition.” SRU has appeared on the list each year since 2010 when the Princeton Review started annually recognizing institutions for their commitments to the environment and sustainability.The Princeton Review, a tutoring, test preparation and college admission services company, chose the 420 schools in the guide based on its survey of administrators at 835 colleges in 2020-21. The company's editors analyzed more than 25 survey data points to select the schools.
