Gary Lynn Horner

Gary Lynn Horner, 64, of Parker, passed away suddenly of natural cause on Oct. 9, 2021.

Born April 2, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of the late Joseph “Joe” E. and Arvella “Pose” Kriebel Horner.

Gary was a graduate of A-C Valley High School and began a 30-plus year career at Indspec, where he retired from.

An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, he often traveled the country to various Turkey Federation Conventions.

Gary was a gracious and generous person, who took the time to write birthday and holiday cards to all of his family for almost every occasion. He was very charitable to local organizations and he always enjoyed going out to eat for dinner.

He was a member of the Parker Presbyterian Church in Parker.

He is survived by his sister, Lisa (Gary) Hunker of North Apollo; and his brother, Brad (Janice Horner) of Parker; his nieces, Kristen Smith, Taylor Logue, Shayla Schafhauser and Lexi Godo; and his nephew, Brian Horner.

HORNER — Per his wishes and the wishes of his family, a private memorial service will be held for Gary Lynn Horner, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.

Arrangements are in the care of H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Parker.
