Theresa Ford

Theresa M. “Terry” Ford, 82, of Mars, passed away on Sunday morning, Oct. 10, 2021, in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.

Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 20, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Vincenza Iriti.

Terry had been a secretary for the Mars Area School District.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.

She was the beloved wife of Richard Ford, whom she married on Aug. 9, 1958; loving mother of Richard Walter Ford (Cathy), Janice Marie Ford Abernethy (Samuel), Robert Richard Ford (Jennifer), Raymond Richard Ford (Maureen), Russell Richard Ford (Sharon) and Scott Richard Ford; grandmother of Alexandra Ford Maseth (Adam), Andrew Ford, Brett Ford, Sara Abernethy, Samantha Abernethy Flynn (Scott), Daniel Abernethy (Ashley), Robert Ford, Jake Ford, Richard Ford (Abigail), Emily Ford, Nicole Ford, Brandon Ford, Katelyn Ford, Jacqueline Ford and Sophia Ford; great-grandmother of Ryan Maseth, Casey Maseth, Ike Flynn and Duncan Ford; and sister of Anthony Iriti.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Antonino Iriti, Catherine DeBone, Pauline Griffith, Domenica Ambrosi, Frederick Iriti, Frances Iriti, Mary Ellen Ambrosi and Elaine Potochnik.

Ford — Friends of Theresa M. “Terry” Ford, who died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
