James George

James George

James A. George, 78, of East Brady, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 30, 1942, in Glassport, he was the son of John J. and Viola F. (DeFalco) George.

Jim was a graduate of the University of Dayton with an engineering degree. He held various positions, from sales to managerial, throughout his career in manufacturing.

He was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church and a supporter of the Dayton Alumni Association. He enjoyed football — from following the Clairton Bears to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jim also cherished time with his grandchildren, teaching them to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Michele (Dobrancin) George of East Brady; and his children, Camille (Patrick) Mulligan of Dayton, Ohio, Peter (Jodi) George of Columbus, Ohio, Michael (Alexandra) George of Boston, Mass., and Michele George of Butler.

Jim is also survived by his sister, Holly George and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Bob Sheetz.

George — Funeral services for James A. George, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, East Brady.

The George family asks that memorials be made in Jim's name to the East Brady Ambulance Service, PO Box 325, East Brady, PA 16028.
