Bear check station changed
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is changing the location of the bear check station for the northwest region for the upcoming four-day firearms bear season.
The new location is the Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Company, located at 6785 State Route 36 in Leeper, Clarion County.
All hunters harvesting bears during the four-day firearms season from Nov. 20 to 23 are required to have their bears checked at a Game Commission check station within 24 hours.
