Catherine E. Myers

We share with great sadness that Catherine “Cathy” E. Myers, 62, of Valencia, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 3, 2021, after a long battle with breast cancer and pneumonia.

Catherine was born on May 15, 1959 in Shaler, and was the daughter of her deceased parents, David L. Schubert and Margaret Schubert (Clyde). Together, Cathy and her late husband, Richard R. Myers, raised their young family in Bellevue/Avalon.

She is survived by her children, Richard M. Myers (Melinda) and Tina Over (Matt), and her grandchildren, Brandon, Noel, and her great-granddaughter, Amelia Grace.

She is also survived by her brother, Glenn D. Schubert (Carole), and her half-siblings, Alan D. Schubert, Harry J. Clyde and Bonnie J. Clyde.

Cathy's favorite time of the year was April through October, and she would spend her happiest times with her dear friends at her camp in Vacationland, where she was fondly known for being the ultimate “Bingo Queen”!

She is on her way to the gates of Heaven, and shall soon be reunited with her beloved husband, Rick.
