Deane C. Frank

Deane Cameron Frank Sr., 92, was born on May 19, 1929, and passed away on Sept. 29, 2021.

Deane was originally from Johnstown. He spent the majority of his adult years in McCandless Township outside of Pittsburgh. Deane and his wife of 66 years (Patricia) recently moved to a beautiful cottage at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Deane was strong, smart, and hard-working. He graduated from Bucknell University in 1951 and went on to the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Deane was an Army veteran and served in Germany following WWII. After marrying Patricia in 1955, they moved to the Pittsburgh area. He worked for many years as General Counsel for HH Robertson Corporation. He was a long time, active member of Northmont Presbyterian Church. Deane loved to ski, hike and read books about world history. He was very active with his four sons and his grandchildren and was fortunate enough to have a great-grandson.

His smile, laugh and heart-felt hugs will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Deane was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Frank-Lockhead. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Patricia H. Frank; his sons, Bill (Karen) Frank, Deane (Jana) Frank Jr., Jim (Tracey) Frank, and Karl (Nancy) Frank; his grandchildren, Wendell, Garrett, Chris (Natasha), Dennis, Bryn, Ryan, Vanessa, Natalie, and Allison, along with his great-grandson, Oskar.

FRANK — Friends of Deane Cameron Frank Sr., who died Sept. 29, 2021, will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.The funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Northmont United Presbyterian Church, 8169 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh.He will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown.In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Northmont Presbyterian Church or the Food Bank of Pittsburgh.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
