Church of God at Connoquenessing
From its humble beginnings in the early 1950s worshipping in a rented storefront in Evans City, to its current 14,000-square-foot location in Connoquenessing, the Church of God continues to herald the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The congregation remains committed in its labor to fulfill the Great Commission given to His disciples.
The Church of God at Connoquenessing holds services three times a week, plus Sunday school for all ages. Sunday morning worship is live-streamed to the public at 11 a.m. and can be viewed via the church website (cogatconnoq.org) or the church app (On Android and Apple — “COG Connoquenessing”).
The congregation performs and produces the radio program “Songs of the Faith,” which is broadcast each Sunday on stations WBUT 1050AM and WISR 680AM.
An outreach to children and adults in the Butler area is an important part of the ministry and continues to expand.
Many members of the congregation are involved in this effort teaching, distributing groceries, driving one of the vehicles from church’s fleet, or, more important, just being a friend.
Pastor Keith Karns extends a warm invitation to worship at the Church of God at Connoquenessing.
