A fire truck led a funeral procession in honor of Butler resident Devin Kocko on Friday afternoon.
The privately-owned fire truck left Thompson-Miller Funeral Home and traveled up North Main Street.
Devin, who was born with autism, died Oct. 21 at age 27 after being ill for two years.
Alex Kocko, Devin’s father, said Devin was his world. His son’s love for fire trucks inspired its inclusion in the procession.
“He was my buddy,” Alex said. “I want everyone to know how good he was ... He didn’t judge anybody.”
Alex said including the fire truck in the procession was his way of sending love to Devin.
“He was just a caring person,” Alex said. “I want people to see there’s still good in the world.”
