2 vehicles collide on Rt. 228
A two-vehicle collision blocked one westbound lane of Route 228 on Wednesday night.
CRANBERRY TWP — A car rear-ended a truck and closed off one westbound lane of Route 228 near the intersection with Cranberry Woods Drive around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
Cranberry Township Police Department, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, and Cranberry Township EMS responded to the incident.
Officer William Wilson of the Cranberry Township Police Department said that two people with injuries were transported from the scene by Cranberry EMS to a local hospital.
