Paul Turner

Paul Richard “Dick” Turner of Butler, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 19, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital after a difficult illness.

Dick was born on Jan. 14, 1942, and was the son of the late Paul Turner Sr. and the late Alene Sherman Turner of Butler.

He graduated from Butler High School and Slippery Rock College.

He married Lana Hawk on Nov. 16, 1963.

He was an educator for over 40 years and was a favorite with his students.

Dick was a faithful Christian, and a member of the Zelienople Church of Christ.

He is survived by his sons, Todd (Katrina) and Stephen (Debbie); and his four beloved grandchildren, Abbey, Ethan, Savana and Mikayla Turner.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Lana; and his brother, Terry Turner.

TURNER — A private service for Paul Richard “Dick” Turner, who died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, was held at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park, followed by interment.

Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
