Erin Lee Walker

Erin Lee Walker, 52, of Renfrew, passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born March 29, 1969, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Bernard W. Took, and is survived by her mother, Norma J. Kniess Mitchell.

In addition to her mother, Erin leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Ashley and Alayna; her brothers, Jay Took and Ronald (Michelle) Took; her nephews and niece, Adam, John, Dayton and Allison; her aunts and uncles, Ruth (Butch) McCandless, Carol Ann Saylor and Bob Kniess; and numerous cousins.

Erin was employed as a bakery and merchandising buyer for Giant Eagle.

She loved her two dogs and three cats.

Erin was an avid Steelers fan, and enjoyed attending the games. She also loved traveling, especially to the beach. Above all, Erin will be remembered as kind and caring, and the best mother to her daughters.

WALKER — The family of Erin Lee Walker, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of a celebration of life service at 7 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, with Pastor Reid Moon as celebrant.

Erin will be laid to rest beside her father at Butler County Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made in Erin's honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
