Charlotte Flick
Charlotte “Diana” Flick, 76, of Butler, died after a long illness on Sept. 11, 2021. During her illness, she was cared for at home until the last few days of her life. She died at Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice.
She was born on June 24, 1945, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late George Harold and Alice June (Watterson) Davis.
Diana married her high school sweetheart, William H. Flick on Nov. 13, 1963.
Diana was a certified caregiver, and spent all of her life caring for people.
Diana was one of the founding members of Butler's Church of God of Prophecy, where she spent years working and helping the church grow. Diana had a strong faith in Jesus, and her life was a profound example of his love.
She was the back bone and rock of her family, their counselor and confidante, and best friend. Her humble, loving, giving and faithful soul was reflected through her beautiful blue eyes.
Diana was very talented and creative through her gardening, painting, drawing, and her beautiful bouquets, but she was most known for her unconditional love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva and Jane; and a brother, Harold.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughters, Billie June Roudebush and Tammy (Bob) McElroy, and a son, Jamie (Dana) Flick, all of Butler.
She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jackie Roudebush, Jonathan Roudebush, Cody Flick, Breanna Flick, Sarah Flick and Emily (Nate) Gove.
Also surviving are three great-granddaughters, Jasmine Roudebush, Jada Roudebush and Evalina Gove; and many nieces and nephews.
