Russell Smith Sr.

On Sept. 12, 2021, Russell Smith Sr., 101, of Evans City and formerly of Shaler, passed away peacefully.

He was the beloved husband for 72 years to Margie Smith, who preceded him in death.

He was the father of Russell (Leslie) Smith Jr. and the late Sandra Lee (Richard Finigan) Smith; the grandfather of Kristy (Mark) Wichrowski, Sherri Rohr and Adam (Sara Young) Smith; and had four great-grandchildren.Russell was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.SMITH — Services for Russell Smith Sr., who died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, were private and arrangements were entrusted to Simons Funeral Home, Pittsburgh.Please visit www.simonsfuneralhome.com.
