Laura Lee Morrow
Laura Lee Morrow of Butler, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born on May 28, 1958, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of Charles H. Ross and Alice A. (Stover) Ross of Butler.
She was a homemaker, who loved her work and family. Her love for animals led her to work as a volunteer for the Rainbow Animal Refuge League, and assist with the rescue and homing of stray and abandoned cats throughout the area. She also loved to do crafts and would often crochet for friends and family.
Most of all, she loved her Lord and God, and was fond of quoting an old Gospel, “I'm going to heaven, can't wait. I'm going to see Jesus, can't wait!” Her waiting is now at an end. She will be sadly missed, but happily remembered by those she has left behind.
She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Morrow Jr., whom she married on Nov. 20, 1977; six children, Mrs. Brad (Jillian Rae) Burford of Butler, Mrs. James (April Joy) Dickerman of Butler, Mr. Albert H. Morrow III and his wife, Meagan, of Butler, Mr. Russell D. Morrow and his wife, Kaylee, of Heartland, Mo., Mr. Zachariah Thomas Morrow of SCI-Somerset, Pa. and Ms. Rebecca Lynn Morrow of Pittsburgh.
She is also survived by her parents, Charles and Alice Ross; and four sisters, Mrs. Donald (Deborah) Horstman of Butler, Ms. Lisa A. Ross of Tyler, Texas, Mrs. William (Amy) Pollock of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Andrew (Sally) Wisler of New Brighton.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
