Jane Ann Kriess

Jane Ann Kriess, 80, of Renfrew, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.

Born July 11, 1941, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Martin Peter Green and Stella Waltman Green.

Jane attended St. Wendelin Catholic School and graduated from Butler Area High School. She was employed as a mill worker at Magnetics where she retired.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church.

Jane enjoyed playing golf with her husband and they were members of several leagues. She also enjoyed traveling to the casinos and having fun gambling.

Above all, caring for her family and especially cooking for them was her greatest pleasure. A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Jane leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 59 years, Jack Lee Kriess, whom she married on Aug. 11, 1962; her sons, Darrin Kriess of Chicora and Michael Kriess of Harmony; her granddaughters, Autumn, Amber, and Ashlyn Kriess; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by two daughters, six brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews.

Kriess — A private blessing service will be held by her family for Jane Ann Kriess, who died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.

Jane will be laid to rest in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
