Margaret Jean Fusek Mielke, 92, of Zelienople, formerly of Valencia passed away on Sept. 2, 2021.

Born on Aug. 24, 1929, in Canfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothea Pauline Frederick Fusek.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Paul Mielke Jr.; the loving mother of Diane Leigh (John) Crockett, Paul Alan (Natalie) Mielke and Raymond Thomas Mielke; the sister of Carolyn Wehr and the late Pauline (Al) Vargo; and the dear grandmother of Edward, Beth, Cassandra, Ronald, Thomas, Sharon and Jimmy.

She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Cora and Alan.

Jean was active with the North Hills Square Dance Club, and was a faithful volunteer with hospice, St. John’s Lutheran Care Center, and numerous church and community activities.

She also enjoyed camping and travel.

MIELKE — Friends of Margaret Jean Fusek Mielke, who died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township.
