Gail Donaldson

Gail Lorraine Donaldson, 67, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1953, in Grove City, and was the daughter of the late Laurie E. Bollinger and Mayme M. (Bollinger) McWilliams.

Gail graduated from Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School in Butler County, and attended Slippery Rock University.

She enjoyed her years as a preschool teacher at Russell UMC Daycare and Preschool in Russell, Pa., and had also worked at the historic Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawny, and the Patent and Trademark Office in Butler County.

She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved spending time with family and friends.

She was a faithful member of Asbury UMC in Waterford.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles McWilliams; and her daughter-in-law, Kara (Gigerich) Donaldson.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Gary K. Donaldson; two sons, Shane P. (Colleen) Donaldson and Matt A. Donaldson, both of Edinboro; two grandchildren, Rosslyn Bryce and Elisha Goodwin Donaldson; a brother, Stephen (Ginger) Bollinger of Waterford; and a sister, Doreen (Otis) Pennington of Eldorado, Pa.

DONALDSON — A gathering of family and friends for Gail Lorraine Donaldson, who died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 27 West 2nd St., Waterford, PA 16441.

Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
