Donald Hiwiller
Donald E. “Donnie” Hiwiller, 54, of Petrolia passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021.
Donnie was born on Aug. 23, 1967, in Grove City, and was the son of the late Harold W. Hiwiller and the late Sandra J. Hurst Hiwiller.
Donnie was an avid sports fan. He loved to play golf, enjoyed coaching for his family's teams, and watching all sports. He also liked spending time at the horse races.
He was employed as a supervisor for BNY Mellon at the underground mines for over 20 years.
Donnie is survived by two daughters, Emily (Josh) Patton of Boyers, and Kyrstin Hiwiller of East Brady; five grandchildren, Jase, Brooke, Daisy, Mable and Graycee; one sister, Sherry (Ron) Cumberland of Petrolia; his niece, Brady; a nephew, Colton; his great-niece, Phoenix; and his dog, Jerzey.
HIWILLER — Family and friends of Donald E. “Donnie” Hiwiller, who died Thursday Sept. 2, 2021, will be received for a memorial gathering from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
A private memorial service will follow at the funeral home.
