Senya Gaurrich

Senya Lee Gaurrich, of Butler, passed away suddenly at her home Aug. 30, 2021.

Born Sept. 12, 1979, in Butler, she was the daughter of Howard and Vicki Shields Gaurrich.

She was Protestant by faith.

She was a housewife, and took joy in taking care of her children.

She enjoyed making candles and was an avid reader.

She was the administrator for the Facebook page of “The Families of Slippery Rock School District.”

She was preceded in death by all of her grandparents, and a special Uncle Bobby.

She is survived by her parents of Butler; two daughters, Acelynn Steele of Zelienople and Euphemia Steele at home; two sons, Ryan Steele and Ramon Mera, both at home; her companion of 11 years, Ramon Mera; one sister, Rachael Gaurrich (Tommy) Gerlach of Butler; one brother, Gary (Kyley) Gaurrich of Butler; seven nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

GAURRICH — Friends of Senya Lee Gaurrich, who passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Evans City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
