A Mid-Autumn Star Party will be sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory, Deer Lakes Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County.

This is an opportunity for amateur astronomers, students and the general public to observe the wonders autumn skies including the Andromeda Galaxy and Double Cluster in Perseus in the telescopes at the observatory.
