David Sacco

David L. Sacco, 76, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021.

He was born July 9, 1945, in Butler, and was the son of the late Peter and Mary Sacco.

David was employed at Armco with their chemical lab for over 36 years. He also worked as a driver for Valley Line Transportation, and as a barber.

He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and boating. Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, Brooke and Sydney.

Dave leaves behind his soulmate, Stella “Sam” Shumaker.

He was the father of Jodi (Paul) Audino, Amy (Andrew) Hathaway and David Sacco; and was the brother of Lillian Faulstich and Bob (Victoria) Sacco.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

SACCO — Friends of David L. Sacco, who died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
