Grove City High to present 'Clue'

Grove City High School will perform “Clue: On Stage” on Nov. 11, 12 and 13.

The performances will begin at 7 p.m. at the high school, located at 511 Highland Ave. in Grove City. It is one act that will run approximately 90 minutes.

“Clue” is based on the 1985 Paramount movie that was adapted from the board game by Hasbro, in which six guests are invited to a dinner party at a remote mansion.

The dinner party turns into a murder-mystery when the host of the party is found dead, which turns all the guests into suspects.

The gang is led by the butler, Wadsworth (played by Fisher Anderson) and consists of Miss Scarlet (Amelia Weller), Mrs. Peacock (Madeline Braho), Mrs. White (Olivia Persic), Mr. Green (Simon Hazy), Professor Plum (Jack Wagner) and Colonel Mustard (Isaac Filer), who must race to find the killer as the body count stacks up.

The play is directed by Pat McElroy and student director Jane Coulter with stage manager Quinn Anderson and student technical director Dan Hessler.
