Wilburn Roby Jr.

Wilburn Andrew Roby Jr. 80, of Butler, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at Concordia at Cabot.

He was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Hazelwood, and was the son of the late Wilburn Andrew Roby Sr. and Clara (Elek) Roby.

Wilburn retired from the Port Authority of Allegheny County as an inventory control specialist. He served in the United States Air Force. Wilburn was a member of the Plum Creek-Monroeville Masonic Lodge 799. Wilburn was a lay minister for the Third Avenue Calvin Reformed Church in Beaver Falls.Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Virginia (McGlamery) Roby of Butler; his special friend, David Geyer of Butler; his sisters, Judy Stratthaus of Butler and Sandra Lenart of Virginia; and 26 nieces and nephews.Roby Jr. — Friends of Wilburn Andrew Roby Jr. who died Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon Tuesday with the Rev.
