Robert D. “Rob” Heal Jr., 63, of Hill St., Emlenton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Rob had earned a degree in exercise physiology from Slippery Rock University in 2007 and had served as strength coach for the football team. He had also been employed as a journeyman mason and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Rob was an active member of Trinity Point Church of God in Clarion.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Collingwood Armstrong Heal; two step-sons, his mother and stepfather; two sisters; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Alexis, Conrad, Cole, Coen and Carley, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.Heal Jr. — A celebration of life for Robert D. “Rob” Heal Jr., who died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Trinity Point Church of God, 180 Trinity Dr., Clarion, Pa., with the Reverend Bruce Wilson officiating.A graveside committal and military honors will be held at 3 p.m. at the Crawford Memorial Cemetery in Emlenton.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home of Emlenton.Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
