Norbert Miller
Norbert Joseph Miller, 90, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.
Born May 18, 1931, in Homestead, he was the son of the late Nicholas Miller and Anna Lang Miller.
Norbert was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, where he volunteered for many events and activities.
He was employed in sales at Robinson Industries in Harmony.
He loved hunting and gardening and being outdoors. Norbert especially loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed the many wine tasting trips with them. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Norbert leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 63 years, Mary Agnes Smith Miller, whom he married on Sept. 7, 1957; his children, Edward (Catherine) Miller of Fairfax, Va., Lawrence (Sarah) Miller of Huntersville, N.C., and Kathleen (Mark) Schnarre of Cranberry Township; his grandchildren, Max, Jacob, Terri, Emily, Katelyn, Matthew and Andrew; and his brother, Sylvester Miller of Conneaut.
In addition to his parents, Norbert was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Miller; and his siblings, Leona Latin, Marie Elias and Othmar Miller.
MILLER — Friends of Norbert Joseph Miller, who died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. David Egan officiating.
Norbert will be laid to rest at St. Gregory Cemetery in Zelienople.
