Stanley G. Lunsford

Stanley G. Lunsford, 76, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at ACMH Hospital.

He was born on June 7, 1945, in Sugarcreek Township, and was the son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Jefferes) Lunsford.

Stan was retired from being the manager at Racoon State Park.

He was a member of the Furnace Run Chapel in Kittanning.

Stan was a member of Masonic Lodge 244 F&AM, Coudersport Consistory, Shriners, and Elk Lodge 203. He also was past vice chair of the Democratic party, a member of the zoning hearing board, and recently won the Democratic nomination to be on the ballot for the general election for Kittanning Borough, 3rd Ward council representative.

Stan leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia Lunsford; his daughter, Kimberly (Tony) Chiesa; and his dog, Cassie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

LUNSFORD — Family and friends of Stanley G. Lunsford, who died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.

Additional viewing will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Furnace Run Chapel, with his church pastor, the Rev. Jimmy Edwards, officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
