Picnic and walk celebrates recovery
People turned out Saturday to honor those who have recovered from addiction in the Butler County Recovery Walk and Picnic in Memorial Park.
The Butler County Recovery Walk and Picnic took place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Butler Memorial Park around the Miller Pavilion.
The event, billed as gathering of hope in the name of recovery, was hosted by the Butler County Human Services' Drug and Alcohol programs and was sponsored by multiple local businesses.
