Dr. Henry Sinopoli, 74, of Butler, died Friday afternoon from injuries he suffered in a Wednesday morning accident in Butler in which the bicycle he was riding and a vehicle collided.

Sinopoli was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with critical injuries following the accident at the intersection of North Washington and West Brady streets at 7:55 a.m., said city police Chief Bob O’Neill.

The vehicle driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, O’Neill said.
