Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. officials Wednesday stressed the importance of their components and the vital role they play in national security during a meeting with local legislators.
Many who spoke at Wednesday's meeting said supporting Cleveland Cliffs could bring stability to the economy locally, regionally and nationally.
“It's a matter of national security,” said Hank Layland, a trustee of the union and recently retired 37-year employee of the Butler plant.
