Samuel S. Moore

Samuel S. “Sam” Moore, 82, of Valencia, formerly of North Hills, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 3, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Feb. 9, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Samuel and Emma McDonald Moore.

Sam was the owner of Samuel Moore Associates.

He was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, where he had been active with the A-Team.

He was active in Masonic Order, and also was a member of the Ruffed Grouse Society.

Surviving are his wife, Beatrice “Bea” Koenig Moore, whom he married on June 10, 1960; two sons, Samuel S. “Sam” Moore II and his wife, Christine “Christy,” of Wexford, and Thomas A. “Tom” Moore and his wife, MariBeth, of Clermont, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Samuel S. “Sam” Moore III of Washington, D.C., and Sarah A. Moore of Charlotte, N.C.

MOORE — Friends of Samuel S. “Sam” Moore, who died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars.

The family requests those attending to please wear a mask.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township.
