Liselotte Setnar

Liselotte “Lee” Setnar, of Butler, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

She was married to Vincent Stanley Setnar of Butler. Lee will now join her lifelong love and husband. They were married on Jan. 8, 1954, at St. Clement Church in Munich, Germany.

Lee was born on June 20, 1929, in Munich, Germany, to Johann and Josefa (Lösch) Kleber.

She had two sisters, Irene Kleber and Hildegard (Kleber) Lütz.

Lee enjoyed her family and is survived by her three sons, John, Vince and Stephen, and their wives; her two sisters; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and soon an additional two great-grandchildren.

Lee was an avid swimmer, gardener and bird watcher, and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince, and their parents.

SETNAR — Family and friends of Liselotte “Lee” Setnar, who died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, are invited to gather from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A blessing service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

A celebration of Lee's life is planned for close friends and family members immediately after the funeral home services at the East Butler Volunteer Fire Hall.
