Sandy Kay Vogt
Sandy Kay Vogt, 65, of Bradys Bend, passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, July 23, 2021, after a brief stay at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, to which the family gives many thanks.
She was born May 28, 1956, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Joy (Love) Vogt and James Russell Vogt.
She was raised in the Christian faith at Trinity United Church of Christ, and was a graduate of East Brady High Class of 1974.
Sandy had a spark that gleamed for all who loved her. She was a mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being in the sunshine, rescuing animals and a good cup of coffee. She was exceptional at saving her niece's and nephews' childhood works of art, and holding on to things “just in case” someone in need may cross her path.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Carl W. Evans.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Ray Davis of Ford City; her daughter, Danielle Love Vogt (Colin Campbell); and her grandsons, Cohen and Elliot Campbell.
Also surviving are her four sisters, Dottie Jo Vogt of Butler, Sheryl Vogt of Fenelton, Shirley (Joe) McDonald of Las Vegas, Nev., and Peggy (Dave) Novak, of Derry; and one niece and four nephews and their children.
