Eleanor P. Schriver

Eleanor P. Schriver, 88, of Mars, formerly of Economy Borough, passed away on Monday afternoon, July 12, 2021, at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born on March 15, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Heinlein Pfeifer.

Eleanor was a devoted wife and mother, proud grandmother, a gifted baker, and skilled seamstress.

She was a former member of Concord United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Townsend (Ron) of Philadelphia, Susan Kline (Robert) of Delmont, Pa., and Sharon Mazzaro (Russ) of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Allen Schriver (Elizabeth) of Stuart, Fla., and Eric Schriver (Gail) of Cleveland, Ohio; and 14 grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Christina, Katherine, Andrew, Audrey, Zachary, Stephen, Joshua, Jessica, Daniel, Kelsey, Rachel and Megan.

She is also survived by a brother, Leonard Pfeifer of Fairfax, Va.; a brother-in-law, James Schriver (Colliene) of Mars; a sister-in-law, Shirley Pfeifer of Pittsburgh; and a daughter-in-law, Andrea Barksby.

She was preceded in death by her husband and sweetheart of 63 years, Earl C. Schriver Jr.; two sons, Mark S. and Paul D. Schriver; her son-in-law, Joseph Polak; and two brothers, Carl and Robert Pfeifer.

SCHRIVER — Friends of Eleanor P. Schriver, who died Monday, July 12, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Private burial will be in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald, Pa.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of Earl's passing, no services were held.

The family will host a celebration of life service for both Eleanor and Earl at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Concord United Presbyterian Church, 2832 Conway Wallrose Road, Baden. This service is open to the public and refreshments will follow in the church social hall.

Memorials may be made to the Concord United Presbyterian Church.
