Donna Kudamik
Donna Mae Kudamik, of Renfrew, died Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Donna was born on April 3, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel Smith. She grew up in Butler with her parents and five younger brothers.
She graduated in 1951 from Butler High School. She enjoyed playing sports in high school, and later in life learned to play golf, and belonged to several golf leagues.
Donna married Frank Kudamik on May 23, 1953. Together they had six children, Frank (Donna) Kudamik Jr. of Lyndora, Daniel Kudamik of Prospect, Eric Kudamik and Timothy (Sallie) Kudamik of Butler, David Kudamik of Renfrew and Amy (John) Schaffer of Cranberry Township, who all survive.
Donna and Frank were also blessed with six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker for many years, and then was employed at J.C. Penney for 18 years, and retired in 1999.
Family and church were the center of her life. She attended St. Conrad Parish in Meridian, was a Sunday school teacher, was a member of the Christian Mother's Guild, and was also a longtime member of St. Conrad's choir. Donna was also a member of the Meridian Community Choir.
Donna is also survived by her brothers, Cloyd Smith and Larry (Pam) Smith, all of Butler, and Ronald (Marcia) Smith of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Sunnyview Nursing Home for their care over the past few years.
KUDAMIK — A Mass of Christian burial for Donna Mae Kudamik, who died Thursday, July 15, 2021, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian.
Interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery in Butler.
Arrangements were handled by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
