Rep. Kelly opposes infrastructure package
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, said in a news release Tuesday that he would vote in opposition to the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.
He said the bill contains irresponsible spending that won’t provide a good return on investment to future generations. He said the national debt is rising to an unsustainable level that will fall onto future generations. He also said he would want to see a bill focused solely on infrastructure.
Additionally, he said the bill is longer than the Old and New testaments of the Bible combined.
