Betty Chupka

Betty L. Chupka, 95, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 4, 1926, in Lyndora, the daughter of the late John and Helena (Gemata) Chajka.

She had attended McKee Chapel United Methodist Church in Fenelton. She had been a housekeeper/caregiver for the elderly for many years. She also enjoyed water painting and writing poetry.

Surviving are her three sons, Joseph (Lucinda) Chupka Jr. of Butler, John (Judy) Chupka of Kane and Paul (Stacey) Chupka of Butler; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph Chupka, one sister and four brothers.

Chupka — Friends of Betty L. Chupka, who died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. David Janz of First United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in the Butler County Memorial Park.
