Concordia names human resources VP
Concordia Lutheran Ministries has named Laurie Roy as vice president of human resources.
Roy, of Wexford, previously worked as vice president of human resources and global talent management at Alcoa in Pittsburgh. She has a bachelor's degree in business and psychology and proudly served four years in the U.S. Army. Roy will lead Concordia's human resources department at a corporate level, sustaining a work environment and culture that engages the workforce, promotes innovation, delivers top clinical performance and supports long-term career success.
“I was first drawn to Concordia because of its mission and vision of serving others,” Roy said. “I have a real interest in the healthcare industry, and I'm excited to be a part of an organization rooted in faith.”
Keith Frndak, Concordia Lutheran Ministries president and CEO, announced the hiring Wednesday.
