Orvel “Ollie” B. Seal

Orvel “Ollie” B. Seal, 87, of Kelleys Creek Road, Charleston, W.Va., passed away on June 19, 2021.

He was born Aug. 31, 1933, on Grass Run, Salem, W.Va., a son of William Clayton and Leo Gertrude (Gerwig) Seal.

He was a graduate of Bristol High School, and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight, with over a million miles driven and no accidents.

He was a member of Worthington Baptist Church in Worthington, Pa. He was a wonderful Christian man.

He enjoyed NASCAR racing, and helping people. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was liked by so many people and didn’t know a stranger.

He is survived by his children, Beth Fridley (Kerry) and Brian Seal; his grandchildren, Steven Martin (Jennifer), Kevin Martin, Tyler Maldonado and Dylan Seal; and his great-grandchildren, Madisen Martin and Ryleigh Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sally Seal; his brothers, Clayton Seal and John Seal; and his sisters, Jane Modispaugh and Oreka Rogers.

SEAL — A graveside service for Orvel “Ollie” B. Seal, who died Saturday, June 19, 2021, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Marshville Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Gene Burnside will be officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville, W.Va.
