Keith M. Fend

Keith M. Fend, 67, of Butler, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 16, 1953, in Butler, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Helen J. (Crawford) Fend.

He retired from the hardware department at Lowe’s, following 21 years service.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, and a member of the R.C. Men’s Club.

Keith enjoyed hunting and he enjoyed the outdoors, along with watching football, model trains and especially time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his son, Garrett (Cristen) Fend and his daughter, Amy Fend, both of Butler; three grandchildren, Haylee, McKenzie and Bellamy; two brothers, Dave Fend and Brian (Elena) Fend, both of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (Jackman) Fend, who passed away Jan. 18, 2020.

FEND — Friends of Keith M. Fend, who died Friday, June 18, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler.

Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
